Remember the little town in Worcestershire, England that was concerned about becoming a 'chicken city'? Well, PETA have thrown their support behind the townspeople to stop the city becoming overrun.
PETA managed to collect 26,000 signatures from local residents, and had this to say on the subject:
"From the smell to the traffic to the knowledge that tens of thousands of sensitive birds are suffering inside filthy sheds, Mr Davies' facility would be a blight on Wychavon's landscape as well as its reputation."
Farmageddon aside, one less factory farm can only be a positive - good luck to the people of Worcestershire!
